The first Suzuki Swift was marketed in the Japanese market as the Cultus and in other places as the Suzuki Forsa, Suzuki Swift, Chevrolet Sprint, Chevrolet Sprint, Maruti 1000, and much more. The global version of the Suzuki Swift was introduced at the Paris Motor Show in September 2014.
