When it comes to reliability, the R8 seems to hold up nicely which is somewhat of a surprise considering what it is. Supercars are known to cost loads of money to run and maintain and many people are not able to keep up with that which inevitably leads to the car having all sorts of issues.

This means that these engines are notorious for running costs as well because they consume lots of fuel too. All in all, be sure to always have a can of oil in your trunk and keep an eye out on the oil levels as lack of oil can cause lots of engine issues.
