Best used cars with heated seats in 2023

Being comfortable in a car is essential for an enjoyable driving experience which means that the car in question needs to have essential comfort features such as a composed ride, comfortable seats with heating, and lots of space for you and your passengers.

However, if you want to maximize your on-road comfort you will have to spend a vast amount of money which is not necessarily possible for most customers out there. As such, you will also have to opt for a car that is not expensive to maintain as most cars that come with all sorts of gadgetry tend to be pricey when it comes to maintenance.

A used comfortable car might as well be the best course of action if you want to benefit from features such as these and the 2016 Chevrolet Malibu is a really competitive used sedan you can buy right now. The 2016 Hyundai Tucson is a great SUV that also offers heated seats and all sorts of amenities.

If you want a comfortable and relatively luxurious hatchback, be sure to check out the 2016 Lexus CT Hybrid. If sports cars are your cup of tea the 2016 Ford Mustang EcoBoost Premium offers the best value for money. Finally, if you want a large SUV, be sure to check out the 2016 Chevrolet Suburban.

2016 Chevrolet Malibu Premier– $16-$19k

If you want to combine great value with accessible luxury, the 2016 Chevrolet Malibu is definitely worth taking a look at. The Malibu got a thorough redesign for the 2016 model year which means that it still looks relatively fresh and could be easily mistaken for a brand-new car if you opt for the right package.

What is better a hybrid or plug-in hybrid?

That being said, you should find one equipped with the Premier package which comes with a lot of luxury amenities such as both heated and cooled front seats. This is not all that common for the sub $20k price tag category which means that the Malibu punches way above its weight limit. Furthermore, the 2016 Malibu is also a reliable car available with efficient powerplant options.

2016 Hyundai Tucson – $15-$18k

The 2016 Hyundai Tucson is fairly similar to the Malibu when it comes to what you get for your money because the Tucson also offers heated and cooled seats for the front passengers. Besides being available with lots of luxury features that were once only reserved for high-end cars, the Hyundai Tucson is also efficient and fairly desirable.

This is because it offers a raised-up driving position backed with lots of space for all passengers. As far as reliability is concerned the 2016 Tucson seems to be one of the least problematic SUVs from its era.

As a used car the Hyundai Tucson is a wonderful choice for many. Hyundai Tucson does have some problems though.

2016 Lexus CT Hybrid – $17-21k

Hatchbacks are not necessarily viewed as the most desirable cars on the market even though they do offer quite a lot of value for not all that much to sacrifice. As such, the Lexus XT Hybrid is a superior all-around hybrid hatchback out there because it offers top-notch efficiency, top-notch safety, and top-notch reliability.

Even the base model gets heated seats but you can upgrade to a more sporty or luxurious trim depending on your preferences. The 2016 CT has won several awards for being a great all-around car back in 2016 which means that it’s still a great used car option in 2021.

2016 Ford Mustang EcoBoost Premium – $20k-25k

The Ford Mustang is not considered a luxury car but if you opt for the 2016 Premium trim you are getting both cooled and seats as standard which is not something you’d expect from a Mustang. If you pair that with iconic styling, a potent yet efficient powerplant, and a fairly attainable price, the 2016 Mustang Premium is a tempting option.

Space-wise the Mustang offers a lot even though it technically seats only two people. Cargo space is also superior to most 2-door cars from its segment and the driving experience is not all that compromised even though it’s a sports car.

2016 Chevrolet Suburban – $23-$50k

If you want an SUV with the most amount of space possible, you will have to go through the Chevy Suburban route because this 7-seater behemoth offers a lot for the money. The Suburban offers both heated and cooled seats which is necessary for a superior long-distance automobile and a lovely commuter.

Besides being comfortable and amply spacious, the Suburban is reliable, desirable, and capable of towing heavy loads. As such, the Suburban tends to combine both superior daily-driver SUV capabilities with utility and space for all passengers.

FAQ Section

Are heated seats worth it?

It depends on where you live and how you tend to use them. Objectively speaking it is worth it to have a car with heated seats because the heated seat option tends to be relatively affordable as opposed to many more advanced seating options while also being relatively more useful.

Is buying a used Mercedes a bad idea?

That being said, if you are someone who lives in a warm climate or you never use heated seats then buying a car with them is not necessarily worthwhile. Even so, heated seats are arguably the most usable and functional seating option out there.

Are ventilated seats worth it?

The answer to this question is a little bit more difficult because there are different types of ventilated seats and some of them are more effective than others. The most basic air recirculating ventilated seat option is useless for many people because the air is not cooled and thus can hardly be felt on your back.

On the other hand, if the system uses refrigerated air you are definitely going to feel the cooling properties which means that these types of ventilation systems are indeed worth it.

Are massaging seats worth it?

Massaging seats are arguably the biggest gimmick out of all seating options you can get these days because these tend to cost a lot of money but they almost always offer little to no massaging functionality. That’s because these systems primarily rely on lumbar support cushions inflating and deflating which is not a true massage.

As such, if the car you are looking at does not offer anything more than just inflatable lumbar support massage, it’s better to skip it because you are likely to never even use it.
