Which car has the most space?

Finding a roomy automobile in 2021 is not all that difficult, but finding the roomiest cars out there takes quite a bit of investigating. In order to find the car with the most space, we need to take into account both cargo space and overall interior room, and these are the cars that came out on top.

The Honda CR-V is widely regarded as one of the best family SUVs out there for many reasons. It offers lots of cargo space, lots of interior space, and enough room for an entire family. However, you should definitely check out the Honda Odyssey minivan if you want the most space you can get.

The new Hyundai Santa Fe is a significant upgrade over the old one, and if you pair that with all the space on offer, the Santa Fe is a great option. If you want a vast three-row SUV with superior all-around space, be sure to check out the Nissan Armada.

However, if you don’t like SUVs, fear not, because the Audi A8 and the BMW 7-Series offer plenty of room all-round. Out of all of the cars listed here, these two are by far the most comfortable, but they are nowhere near as spacious as the Nissan Armada or the Honda Odyssey.

Honda CR-V – Family SUV benchmark

The Honda CR-V is a mid-size SUV with quite a bit of a following. For generations now, many US families have entrusted the CR-V with transporting their beloved ones, and it’s safe to say that they have made the right choice as far as space, safety, and reliability are concerned.

  Are cars with turbos reliable?

Whether it be headroom, legroom, or cargo space, the CR-V manages to excel due to a fairly well-thought-out design. Even though the CR-V sits five and not seven, the space in both rows is superior to pretty much every 7-seater SUV out there, especially if you consider cargo room as well.

Honda Odyssey – Best family minivan on the market

If you are a true family man, you are better of with a minivan, and there is no better minivan than the Honda Odyssey. The Odyssey offers an abundance of interior space, so much so that Honda has equipped the Odyssey with a set of microphones for you to even be able to speak to the rear passengers.

Reliability is also superior to most minivans made in the US, and so is the fuel efficiency. The V6 engine under the hood delivers plenty of grunt while still being docile enough for everyday commuting.

Nissan Armada – Three-row SUV behemoth

The Japanese know how to make a great family car. They don’t spend exorbitant amounts of money on flamboyant high-end audio systems and 20-inch wheels, they always want to perfect the essentials before they decide to step the game up. This is particularly apparent with the Nissan Armada.

With an exceptional safety score, the Armada is perfect for a large family, and if you pair that with a punchy V8, it’s safe to say that you will feel like the king of the road. The newly redesigned Armada offers a significantly updated infotainment system and a cavernous cargo space if you fold down the third row of seats.

Audi A8 – Progress through technology

Even though all of the aforementioned cars are incredibly roomy, they are not nearly as comfortable as the Audi A8. This full-size flagship sedan from Ingolstadt is made for those who spend a lot of time on the road and for those who want to do it in uttermost style and comfort.

Why are cars from the 90s so ugly

The A8 does not look as punchy as the new BMW 7-series does, but many people prefer that because an understated look makes it that bit more enjoyable. The A8 comes as standard with Apple CarPlay, a large panoramic sunroof, B&O sound system, 22-way power-adjustable heated and ventilated seats, air suspension, and much more.

BMW 7-Series – The driver’s choice

If you value a decent handling car, it’s better to opt for the BMW 7-Series over the Audi A8 because the steering in the A8 feels disconnected when compared to the one offered in the 7-series. The 7-series also offer a silky-smooth air suspension setup, a punchy engine lineup, and the roomiest rear seats of all sedans on sale bar the Rolls Royce Phantom.

The cargo room is on the same level as the one offered in the A8 which means that you will be satisfied with either one of these. The 7-series also comes with loads of features as standard, and between the two it’s best to opt for the 7-series if you value driving, but go for the A8 if you value technology.

FAQ Section

Are three-row SUVs the most practical SUV out there?

It depends on if you want to use the third row of seating or not. If you do need enough space for 7 passengers, then yes, out of all SUVs out there, a three-row SUV is the one to get. However, you will have to sacrifice cargo room in order to comfortably pack seven passengers in one car.

That being said, if you don’t plan on using all seven seats, then it’s better to opt for a 5-seater SUV because you will find more space in one of those. Even when you lower the third row of seating, many three-row SUVs feel a bit cramped in the middle row.

What is the most spacious EV?

The most spacious EV is undoubtedly the Tesla Model X because the Model X has enough space to comfortably pack up to seven passengers at the same time which is rare in the EV segment. Be that as it may if you don’t need all that much room, you can easily fold down the second and third-row for a cavernous cargo area.

If you want a more sedan-like EV, be sure to check out the new Mercedes EQS because the EQS offers class-leading interior comfort and space in the electric sedan segment.

Are SUVs the best cars to get if I want space above everything else?

SUVs do offer a lot of space, but a minivan or a passenger van is a far better choice. There are many passengers vans out there like the Ford Transit, the RAM ProMaster City Wagon, Mercedes Benz Sprinter, or the GMC Savana.

You do need to keep in mind that all of these vans are rather huge and a bit difficult to drive for those without van experience. Nonetheless, these are the ones to go for if you want superior space no matter what.
