When it comes to car brands, there is always a clear distinction between your standard run of the mill car and a luxury car. Despite that, it isn’t always obvious where that line between ordinary and luxury falls.
What about Mazda? Is that a luxury car brand?
While cars made by Mazda can certainly be very fancy looking, they are not considered to be luxury cars. Though the brand did attempt to try and make luxury cars nearly 30 years ago, this project of theirs never came to fruition.
Though Mazda isn’t a luxury car, it is, however, considered to be a premium type of car. A premium car is the top of the line for various makes and models of a car. Premium cars tend to have a few extra features thrown in that increase the price.
Since Mazda cars do not get excessive with the included features, this results in a Mazda not being a luxury car.

Another option that many people enjoy is the small car. These are a little bit cheaper than the sedans but offer all of the comfort and safety that a car that is a little bit more expensive offers. With a small car, you can get on the road in no time at all. However, I always want my small car to feel comfortable and safe so I always look for a new car with features that make me feel safe.
